Yamnuska Mountain Hike

Yamnuska comes from the Stoney Indian word “Yamnathka” that describes a steep cliffs or “flat faced mountain”. It is one of the last mountains before the landscape turns in the rolling hills of the prairies.  You will do a circle hike on this mountain.  You will want to climb up going counterclockwise, that way you don’t have to climb up the scree.  On the way down have some fun and try scree surfing! Have fun on this challenging hike. Yamnuska Hikes Pictures
